Building and Refining the Brand
Sam M. Walton College of Business
The Sam M. Walton College of Business is known for its prestige, valuing excellence, professionalism, innovation, and collegiality. My team, the Office of Marketing & Communications, and I have worked collaboratively with the college to represent those values through the new branding. We conducted focus groups and rigorous research, built extensive brand guidelines, and streamlined the brand assets for the entire college. Building a brand is more than placing a logo; it's communicating an energy to a wide group of people. I am grateful to have been a part of this process—it completely defined who I am as a designer.
Guidelines & Templates
I helped build out guides, websites, and templates to inform the entire college about the in's and out's of our brand. This was an opportunity to think about how to educate people on design principles and practices in a way that is digestible to non-designers. In this, I learned that being able to communicate your design properly is just as important as designing well.
Social Media Identity
Part of my workflow is to design visual content for the college’s social media platforms—collaborating closely with the Social Media Manager to align graphics with campaign goals, messaging, and audience engagement strategies.
Together, we developed content that supports event promotion, student features, academic highlights, and more. My focus was on creating designs that were visually cohesive, brand-aligned, and optimized for each platform.

This twelve-page booklet captures the business college's best moments throughout the year, covering our rankings, alumni and student features, and our most innovative classes. This was one of my favorite projects because I got to work closely with the entire team, which unlike any other project I've faced.
