Portfolio Website | HTML+CSS
GDES 43103 | Interactive Language | University of Arkansas
I learned how to code for the first time with this semester-long project. Tasked to build a personal portfolio site, I created HTML pages and added my own CSS stylesheet to the entire website. My classmates and I started this project with Figma wireframes, then moved over to Visual Studio Code and created our sites based off of our mockups. My website is fully responsive, adapted to desktop, mobile, and tablet screen sizes. This project brought introduced a whole new world of design to me, and kickstarted my love for code.
Project Objectives:
• Design a personal visual identity (logo, color palette, typography).
• Create a fully coded, responsive website using HTML and CSS.
• Apply semantic HTML elements and consistent structure.
• Demonstrate breakpoints and responsive image design.
• Organize your website using flexbox or grid for clean layouts.
